I htink it was the 318. or maybe that was just the smallest.
Actually, the slant six with a 3 spd tranny and column shift were available, though those are probably the rarest Chargers ever produced.
It's almost a trick question...1969 Dodge Charger came in 2 standard trim levels: Standard and Road and Track (R/T). Standard came with a 318/383 (2 & 4bbl) engine choices. R/T got you the 440 Magnum, and an option for the elephant (426 Street HEMI). Scott raises a great observation - a buyer could actually select the optional 225 cindy "Slant Six" engine, which in today's market would make that Charger an extremely rare car. But really...who in their right mind would order a S6 for a Charger?? LOL!
