vw type 1 misses

ok i have a 1970 vw beetle with a newly rebuilt 1641 with an engel 110 cam, i am using the stock carburetor. i have replaced the distributor, points, rotor, cap, wires, and plugs but it still misses. it will start and it responds to the throttle but it won't idle and if u try to drive it u can feel it missing. we have tied adjusting the bypass and mixture screws, and adjusted the timing but it still won't run right. can someone help?

i checked the valve lash today i set it to lose 0 the pushrod still turns but i can't fit the thinest feeler gague between the rocker arm and top of the valve. not sure if it could be the coil or not. its a new bosh blue coil.
