Check the ground contacts and clean to shiny bare metal surface and tighten up generator/alternater connections see if that helps.

Sorry, but I have no idea what the ground contacts are or where to find them. My problem is that one day everything worked fine, the next day, the low beams quit working. High beam works fine, but on coming drivers really do not like the high beams only. However, if I react as I normally do, and dim the lights, I have NO HEADLIGHTS at highway speeds. The only thing I can think of, is that the low beam, in each bulb, burnt out at the same time. Which seems extremely unlikely. Any advice on what to check?

See the thin guage wire that comes off the negative pole where it goes to the body of the car.Scrape that contact point and fasten screw with special washer that digs in.
