I've had my 2007 Santa Fe since new. The past few months the visor light stays on unless the visor is completely up or down. Is there a shut off I may have disabled?

I've had my 2007 Santa Fe since new.   A couple years ago the drivers visor was
replaced as it suddenly broke. For the past couple months I've had to pay close attention
to be sure the visor is completely up or down otherwise the light stays on. Should the
light go off when the car is off?  Is there a switch I may have moved?

sounds like a short in the wire inside the visor making and breaking contact when it gets to certain points. If it were mine I would ebay, amazon or dealer search for a replacement visor and change it. If you really don't care if the light works, you can remove the screws mounting it to the roof, gently lower it from the mounting and unplug the connector that should be up there then put the visor back up.

I appreciate that. I'll have the dealer check it as they're the ones who replaced the visor I think it's been only a few months ago. Not sure why I wrote couple years ago. It's been only months
