I ave a 2008 Santa Fe. The fuel gauge light stays lit up on E even if my gas tank is full. When I go to put fuel in my car, it is very difficult to start. Takes a few times to get it to run smooth

It takes a few times of starting before being able to drive. After that, it starts fine and runs fine until the next time I get fuel. Is my fuel tank about to go out on me?

Sounds more like an EVAP purge problem. If you have a habit of trying to squeeze every drop in your tank, don't...stop at first click-off of nozzle. If you do stop at first click, an OBDII scan may be in order, even if your Check Engine Light is not on. If you do decide to get it scanned, post the codes(s) back here if any before buying anything. But I have no clue about gauge.

I had to have my fuel sensors replaced. (Santa Fe 2007)

Actually, on the receipt they were called senders or "fuel tank sending units." They also replace the fuel pumps. This was for the fuel gauge problem (and my engine light was coming on...)
