Oil inside fuel injectors
My 2007 edge was missing so took it to the shop where they said it had a miss on #1. Shop replaced coil and new plug all around it did not help. they removed the tops to injectors and found them full of oil. Any ideas on how oil got in there. First thought is someone put oil in my gas tank, as a prank. Does anyone else know how oil can get in the fuel injectors.

Have a compression test done,it will show leak, and oil can only get to injector through piston ring.
Leaking valve cover gasket -- over long enough period, oil will leak will ruin coils (and associated spark plug). Shop mechanic most likely saw/felt oily build up on #1 plug but took short cut and just replaced coil and plug. Since these will likely need to be replaced again, after source of oil leak is located and repaired, shop should replace plu and coil,at N/C.
He put it on the computer and the code said it was a misfire in #1. But after the coil and plug was replaced and new plugs all around it was still misfiring. So when he checked the injectors he found oil in three of them

Leaking valve cover gasket or you have bad rings. do you see any oil leaks anywhere? have your timing check. with oil being noted i would check the valve cover gasket first then go from there.
Did you have an oil change before this happened? Could it be possible that some oil spilled and got to the injectors?
Ive got the same.issue with i injector found.oil in bung hole thinking rings cause i get a grinding sound from that area when i punch it. But im hopeing its only the valve gasket.
