Car wont start

Asked by Boriinneed Jul 15, 2017 at 03:19 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet HHR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Today I had to put a fuse for power  steering and
got home engine was smoking and I turned it off
and try to turn it on and it wont turn on. When I turn
the key it turns with no sound can it be the battery?   
But I see that the light  is on in the car... omg I
really need answers I need my car for work.

From in front of car. White smoke small amount for a few seconds.

My 2008 HHR don't start, I purchased a new starter and a battery in it still won't start what is My next step.
