My gas gauge won't go over 3/4 of a tank why? Also going down the high way my RPM's jump drasticly as well? Can anyone help me so i can resolve these issues?

Gas gauge would be caused by bad fuel tank float mechanism or being out of range. Rpm's jumping drastically: Transmission issue, you may want to check transmission fluid level first.
