I would then put starter relay back (
same relay) and truck would start.
This has stopped working. Just
wondering if anyone has seen this

Swap out the relay with a new one.

Have the starter tested, it may work but may have to much resistance and not work every time.

It was in fact the solenoid, I replaced starter assembly and it started right up. Thank you Of course while replacing the starter I noticed the water pump leak. Lol

I have a 1996 suburban with an issue that need help with.
