my 2008 Ford Escape will not start. We've been having a problem with the ignition. Everything on the vehicle works fine, it's nothhing under the hood. And it's not the battery. Please help!!

it's like the key won't start it. it's hard to explain. The vehicle runs great! it's just having a problem starting. it doesn't hasitate or anything, all the lights and radio and everything come on, but when you go to turn the key all the way over, there's nothing. like a wiring problem or something?

That's the problem, my mechanic will not answer the phone & I can't afford to take it to a shop. If we can figure out what's wrong with then we couuld buy the part & my boyfriend couuld fix it. Just for some reason we can't get anyone to come look at it even after we've offered money.
