Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 chevy cavalier abs lights are on I wont have the money to change the speed sensor now if I unplug wires from front wheel will my lights go out I know I will have regular brakeing after that Thanks for your help

Probably not. The unplugged wire will be determined to be a fault by the OBD in the ABS, an open circuit and the light will stay on. The ABS system is not functioning, the wheel speed sensors won't be sending a signal to the ECU, hence a fault.
