what could be wrong with my car?

there was a loud hissing noise that lasted 10 mins or so when the car was in park, nothing leaking underneath and the air condition isn't cooling what is this?   The air conditioner doesn't blow cold air.

It is likely that an A/C hose of fitting blew out and all the refrigerant leaked out. It will need to be repaired by an experienced A/C technician.

What Bob said. Likely a hose blew out and you will need a new hose and then a recharge of refrigerant. Be sure and have the technician add leak detecting dye while they are at it.
