does my 2008 Audi A4 b8 have a timing belt or chain?!

can anyone tell me if my 2008 Audi A4 b8 will have a timing belt or chain? I am wanting to know if I need to get the belt changed during my major service. One mechanic has said it will be a belt and the other said it's chain...

from what i can tell looks like chains and they don't normaly need replacement unless a link breaks which is not very coman

Where are you located? The B8 chasis came out in 2009 in North America but I think Europe got it in 2008. If it is a B8 then it has a chain. The early years of the B8 until 2010 or 2011 had serious timing chain tensioner failure issues. Highly recommend having that tensioner replaced with the newest revision
