what's causing my trunk not to open by the trunk button

Check the relay, it may be burnt out. That happened on my old buick

Have a 2015 Dodge Charger and I hit the button inside the open my trunk and on my key and I hit the trunk one and my trunk will not come open but I hear clicking noise what is my issue

I have the same problem and it seems the actuator is not rotating all the way to press the latch on the trunk lock.
