Why won't my vehicle start?

Asked by Brandi May 05, 2017 at 10:42 PM about the 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lights, radio, etc they all come on with no problem.
Only thing is when key is turned over all it does is
click like battery is dead but everything is on just

Possibly your starter is bad. But first I would double check all battery connections to make sure they are tight and clean. Also check battery voltage. All because the other items work does not necessarily mean that your battery is good or that the connections are either. For giggles try to jump start it.

If all wires seem fine try tapping your starter. Don't know why it works just know it does.
