vortec intake has 2 water jakets but my heads have 4 water jackets is this the right intake 4 the heads

my intake has 2 water jackets and my 906 heads have 4 water jackets  is this right or not

it is like that on all small block chevys. the intake is aluminum and doesn't get that hot anyway. You only need the front water passages on it for the thermostat. The back 2 are normally blocked
