1965 Barracuda fuel pump replacement project. I'm 99% sure the arm of the fuel pump goes under the cam lobe, but wanted to ask here to double check.

The fuel pump lever does go under the cam lobe...actually the eccentric bolted to the cam. Makes the job easier to remove the 1/2" alternator adjustment bolt and loosen the (2) 9/16" alt bracket bolts, then hinge the alternator in the furthest up position and tighten the alt bracket bolt to hold the alt in place...this makes easier access to the pump....or move the alt all together. Hope this helps.
