does it go into all the other gears OK? Has this just started? How long have you had the Expo? Need more info to analyze.

Two torx screws under the steering column have most likely backed out. Very simple fix. Check YouTube... there are videos there that show you where the screws are, what they look like and how to tighten them.

We found why our 2000 Ford Excursion would not go into park. After exhausting all other suggestions, I found a piece of grave got into the shift lever on the transmission underneath. Problem finally solved. We live on a gravel road. Cheap fix, this time!
