What is wrong with the turn signals? If none of them work or light up, it could be the wiring, or more than likely the turn signal switch is bad which is located under the steering wheel and your turn signal lever attaches to it. These run about $50.00 from Mac's antique carparts or Green Sales company in Cinn,Ohio. Both of which have websites. If it's just one side or one light that doesn't work, then it's probably a corroded lightbulb socket. Remove the bulb by pushing down and twisting it counter clockwise, push the wiring pigtail up from behind and clean the connection with a file, 80-100 grit sandpaper or some steel wool, then blow it out good with air hose or your lungs and replace with a new 1157 light bulb. Good luck, Kenny.
Don't forget to check the flasher (located on the fuse block (round). the symptoms of the flasher are: Turn signal lights come on but don't flash. And what Kenny said about the bulb socket is true but don't forget the obvious, the bulb. Good luck. -dragcar-
