Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am planning to buy BMW 535i not paying more than $40K with less than 30,000 miles.
Which was the best year: 2008, 2009, 2010? Why? I want the twinturbo.

For the price you want to stay under, you will be looking at 2008-2009. For the mileage, your looking at 2010 maybe get lucky with a 2009. I personally have a 2008 and it is a great car with a wonderful feel for the road. Unfortunately I have to get rid of mine. I was lucky enough to find a rare color combo when I got mine. Good luck with your search

Thanks for your respond Styling of this new 535i, 2010 and 2011 compared with older one 2008 and 2009. The new one could be mistaken rather easily with a 7series, but it doesn't have the same character as the previous 535i (2008 and 2009) had. The visual drama is not so present. I liked the old one's convex & concave contrasts, while this new one really has nothing special about its looks. What do you think?

I went to the dealership. 2011 BMW 535i looks much luxurious and classy than 2008-2010.
