is it dangerous to drive my mazda 2 with the tool icon on

Asked by MontanaMazda2 Aug 27, 2015 at 10:14 PM about the Mazda MAZDA2

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had a new fan installed at the dealership and when I got it back the tool icon
has stayed on most of the time for the last few days.  This icon was not on when I
brought it in.

The Tool icon is your "Perform Maintenance" indicator. I would contact the Dealer and make them aware of this ASAP, since the light was NOT on before they installed the new fan. See if they can get you into a loaner car (at their expense) as well. I would be inclined to not drive it. I had a MX-5 Miata and would not feel comfortable driving it if that light came on.
