Rocam 1.3 2003 model

Asked by FordB2003 Nov 17, 2019 at 01:52 AM about the Ford Bantam

Question type: General

My car was mixing water and oil. Took it to the
engineers. The top engine was skimmed. The
rings, valves and timing chain were replaced. Now
when it starts it cant hold power. The foot needs to
be on the Accelerator forever, once you remove the
foot it stops. The sound of the engine doesn't
sound proper. Can this be electrical issue or what?

Check the cam timing against the crankshaft. It sounds like a mechanical problem
