Firstly, what is the Immobilzer LED doing ? Its located next to the clock. Does it co0me on at all ? Does it come on and stay ON ? When the Ignition is turned to ON does this LED flash quickly and the flash up a code ? Have you checked the condition of the fused Right side of the steering under the dash ? Did you at any time drop the ignition key on the ground ? It could be that the glass transponder or chip in the key is broken if it was dropped. On the right side under the dash by the fudes are two screws, Loosen them and drop the Electrical Junction box down. There are some relays. Swop the small brown relays arround. One of the relays (Center from the middle) is the Power hold relay. Swop this one with one of the others. Once these are checked and the problem still persists, I would take your vehicle to an Auto Electrician , a mechanic who specializes in these vehicles or a Ford Dealer. It sounds like it could be the Computer Box or the Key Reader.
