Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, my motor has been completely redone. I'm driving it for a couple of
weeks. When I get to about 2000rpm it started misfiring and it is getting
worse, this afternoon it was misfiring badly and then it stalled. When I started
it I saw black smoke coming out of the exhaust and the revs are irregular.
Instead of it being at 900rpm it was moving between 600 and 700rpm and
then I heard the timing chain. # Mechanics later. Please can you help me

Take it back to the shop that did the work and see what they say. It may not be something that they did but a reputable business will want you to be a happy customer.

Check the spark plug gaps 2002 to 2007 with be 1.00mm and 2008 to 2012 will be 1.3 mm. Check the condition of the HT Leads.
