when i come to a red light, the car still feels like it wants to go as im holding on the

I think this could be your speed sensor. I just got mine fixed and it cost me about 200...150 for the part. Also, before the car starts to idle high does the idle drop really low and then catches itself then idles high?

ya thats what i just found out that it was my idle speed control sensor, $150 for the part and $150 to install it.....then everything will run fine after that,,,,sometimes it takes up 3000 rpm to shift to 3rd gear...but thats the problem..
