After getting about 18" of water in it during a flood, our "99 Protege won't
maintain a constant speed. It starts slowing down as soon as I reach the
desired speed. The check engine light is on but it won't throw a code. The
alternator light is also on but the alternator is working perfectly. Plus, the
battery is getting drained while it is parked. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
