Gurgling sound when engine is turned off

After driving my car for 10 minutes, I pulled into the garage and shut off car.  
There was a loud "gurgling" sound under the hood.  What could it be.  I am
uncertain where I check the coolant level.  Is there a site that might show me
that detail.  The Toyota manual shows nothing

The radiator should be topped off completely and the reservoir no more than half full. If you're coolant is full, there might be an air bubble in your cooling system.
