Slave Cylinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Do any of your guys notice with the older Rangers that when you push in the clutch with it out of gear that the transmission makes almost a hissing noise. The noise is somewhat hard to describe, but the guy i bought it off of said the Slave Cylinder had some issues at one point but went away, so this was my first guess and didn't know if it was a common thing for the early 90's rangers.
