Labor on slave cylinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Any idea how long the labor takes on a slave
cylinder for a 07 Ford Ranger?  Got a 4.0 v6 engine
(if that matters).  Haven’t bought it yet. But want to
adjust price cause I know it needs it.

Takes about an hour but can be done quicker with access to a lift and a transmission jack

No need to pull transmission on an ‘07? Had a 92 but tranny needed pulled to do same. Thoughts?

Seeing as the slave cylinder is still fitted inside the bellhousing you will need to pull the transmission. It's a bit of a pain to do but there's no way around it.
