what would cause my truck to stall when first start up and be slugish untill its warmed up then it is fine? ...Fuel Pump???

my dodge is doing the same thing, it's my torque converter going into lockup when it doesn't need to be. dump some trans-x in, and if the problem gets better, you know its a transmission problem

idle air sensor is fine. clean it and didnt make anything different. My grandpa worked for ford for a long time and thinks it could be the fuel pump going bad. could that be the problem?
