1988 ford ranger 2.3l 5 speed
Bought a daily driver, replaced plugs wires etc. gas filter, and then slave cylinder went
bad....truck had always rode great for 7000 miles, @ 120 per day. With in days of
changing the slqve out the truck began to , I don't know pop as of there was a tranny
problem, lose of power until it won't move anymore, and I have to get off the road, after it
sits for a couple days or ever hours, it's back to running great. Had it towed twice now
both times they took their time getting it and then to look at it, and ofcourse all ran well.
No cods Etc. all seems fine, a friend with another ranger told me to change the ignition
module under the rotor, on the next tow I asked them to check it out , I had the part so
they changed it, after testing said it was good but ran a little hot. My call. Low and
behold the very next day the same problem... And guesses... I need this pet ocular
truck... Help...
