Sorry to say you need either a major type maintenance computer to set the code or take it to a qualified repair/maintenance garage. The car is looking for the type of battery and stage of charging. Most new cars are requiring the coding for many different makes of vehicles. If it turns out to be the radio anti-theft code you will need either the original radio manual for the theft code or you will have to go to the dealer. Be sure to call ahead to find out if they are going to need a copy of the title, bill of sale, or what to convince them you own the car.

yes it is anti theft code. bought it used have all paper work, title and radio manual.. Page its on has box that says model # serial # and code # ... all 3 are blank

You will have to get the codes from the dealer. They may be stored in the main computer, but I can not imagine that anybody can pull them out of the computer or have them on record except the dealer, otherwise what good in the security. They should not charge you much if at all as long as you can verify it is your car. Good luck and enjoy the car.
