Could I find a decent Mitsubishi Lancer (maybe Evo even) for about 5,000-6,000 these days?

I am going to be saving up for a car and planning to get one next summer. Is it even possible to find an Evo for 5-6 grand somewhere?

Evo - no way. For a generic Lancer, you're looking at them in the 2006 or older range.
