replaced factory stereo with aftermarket and now dash panel lights wont work.....help

after replacing the radio none of the dash lights will work....any suggestions?

Did you use one of the harness converters specifically for your car? Some newer cars require the harness adapter to keep lights working because they run through the factory radio. If you wired it up straight to the wires then that's probably your problem.

my son wired for me and he did use harness converter for the vehicle.....got dash panel lights to finally work BUT they stay on in the daylight as bright as they would at night....I guess I can learn to like it....thanks for your time

hook radio to a non hot fuse,unhook yellow wire on radio to factory wire.
