Sometimes, the crankshaft sensor is replaced when the problem is really the ignition/distributor engine speed sensor. Other times, the crankshaft is replaced when the problem is really the camshaft sensor."

Thank you. Car still at the shop the original repairs $176.00 for labor and $62.95 for parts plus shop supplies and tax for a total of $265.77. Work was for the crankshaft position sensor. Lets see what other sensor they will replace now.
