remove cement from car
I had cement dumped on my car from an overpass (thought it was just mud at first). It's hardened, and I can't get it off. Tried distilled vinegar, but that only helped a bit.
It's hardened and will not be removed conventionally. Also, since the cement is harder than the paint, it can't be buffed out. Try this, on the smaller flecks of cement, you should be able to dislodge it from the edges with a fingernail. Cement isn't designed to bond with paint. On the larger sections, carefully use a plastic scraper or paint stir stick to dislodge the bond at the edge. It isn't bonded that tightly..IT WILL RELEASE! After removal, HAND WAX entire area with a PASTE cleaner wax by 3M.
