its a vtec motor right? which motor is it? i'd say maybe get it ported too and matched to a nice intake if ur gonna go all-motor.this is assuming you've got a niice exhaust and intake right?

stock ignition has been proven to be fine up to 400whp on d-series motors. assuming the hp# you posted it sounds like you have a d16y8. 150hp at the flywheel isn't much at all. how much boost were you running to only gain 33bhp, like 3-4psi? crank the boost up, the d-series can hold 200whp (about 220bhp) safely without any internal modification and with a tune. if you are dead set on n/a, then getting back to 150bhp would be pretty easy, that's only around 115whp, which you can get back from a great i/h/e combo and some cam work. you get a good bump in power if you include all of that with higher compression pistons (pm6 pistons from a d16a6) and some porting with that you'll get closer to 130whp and pulling on gsr's. that will give you 10.34:1 compression which with a proper tune will be fine for pump gas and even better if you can run some type of water/methanol injection or e85.

i got my b-16 swapped with fb22 with larger pistons and its boosted...just got new tires and brakes...

what? why didn't you boost the b16?

i had my b16 boosted before, and i had that "old-ass" turbo kit...now i'm more into Honda muscle, if thats how they would call it..

get a rebuild kit and call it a day... honda muscle? with honda's the best replacement for displacement is a boost (or nitrous)
