s10 crank no start

97 s10.was driving fine.stop at store start back
up.back out and just died..try to start,but just
cranks...sprayed carb start in air filter hose started
up but died...turn key to cycle can hear fuel pump
turn on..but not ever time i cycle on.changed fuel
filter..question when cycling on do you have to
wait à minute before cycling or Should you hear
fuel pump every time you cycle on.??and i have à
fuel pressure gauge from harbor frieght,would
That be suffisent to use to test for bad fuel
pump...please help..

Ok fuel pressure should be 55 psi and up right... And hold... And if it drops, That means pump is bad????

Ok.the problem is That its not starting Just cranks.... It Just died on me one Day..was running fine stop AT the store and started up backed out and it shut off.. So by checking fuel pressure Will í be able to tell if its the pump. With out it starting or running .

Ok test fuel pressure and it stayed AT 30 psi.. Tried to crank But no start did drop down for awhile but stayed AT 30.so That means bad fuel pump right.. Or is there some thing else í should check

Got another question. Í Was thinkin of ordering the fuel pump online... Is That a bad idea and which is an ok Brand..
