Have a 2000 blazer have replaced the motor on side of transfercase, everything from under the battery to the case still will not engage.Lights flash.

When the encoder shifts into 4wd it applies vacuum to the front actuator under the battery tray. Check for vacuum there. If there is vacuum there check the actuator for cracks because all it is is a vacuum diaphram. If it holds vacuum then see if the cable from the actuator to the front axle moves freely, they can seize. You should find your problem in here sonewhere.

yes the vacuum is all right and mechanic has been checking all different things
