Asked by suzykate Oct 17, 2014 at 05:00 PM about the Chevrolet S-10 Blazer

Question type: General

When I start it on cool mornings it fires first try, as day
progresses it takes holding the ignition on or turning off and on
several times before it will fire. On days above °45 it is very
grass to fire up. I can hear the pump running so not sure what is
wrong

Found out it was my egr valve and map sensor. Have not replaced them yet . Its been very cold here and she's been purring like a kitten on the highway. But if it warms up.. back to the starting problems and running choppy. Getting reparied this weekend.
