I'm assuming you have power windows. I'd check for a broken wire first. Open the rubber boot at the bottom of the door and look for a broken or frayed wire. Next, check your fuses. Then it begins to get more involved with motors and window regulators, binding window channels , ect. If you have manual windows, it might be the regulator, loose handle.
