sounds like the idle speed may be too low for the engine to stay running, or you may have a fuel delivery problem.

ck transmission fluid level. The 45rfe trans. uses pressure to release the lockup clutch in the torque convertor. So if the fluid level is low, when you put it in gear it stalls the eng.
I will put the brake on to put in reverse or drive and it dies. What can I check on my truck. Other than this it runs really good.
