Question type: General

Before purchasing this 18 ft 4500 lb tandom axle trailer thought I better ask if my 2014
dodge ram 1500 will handle the weight? the truck does have trailer package with factory
brake and hitch. My concern is front end weight with a 5000 lb car engine fw puts lots of
weight on the hitch. Please give me your opinion on how the Ram will handle this weight.

your truck can tow approx. 9200 lbs, however, without the "tow package", make sure you turn the Over Drive off if equiped (I burned up my OD in my 2001 by mistake) I tow over 3500lb trailer on a constant basis (lawn service), i haven't even unhitched my trailer in over 3 years
