Is it just me or...?

Actually, the new C class looks like a baby S class 221series. Over the years (46) I can tell you Mercedes usually starts with a new S class and in following years, the other series take on the look,I didn't say exactly, but the similar design look.

I know the c class takes on the look of the S class, Mercedes have been doing that since the 190, but I just noticed that the previous C class was an exception in that it had that ( almost) dual head light assembly like the E class which looked nothing like the then current S class. I just thought that the lineage looked more evident when I looked at the w201, w202 and the w204. The w203 was the odd one out.
