I have a 20005 chevy silverado 4wd, what kind of transmission is in it?

I have to replace my transmission and transfer case. Im not sure what transmission I

The information tag on the door post will tell what type of transmission is in the car, also the vin will have it also. The transmission will have a part number on it. It is a very common GM transmission. If you are ordering it yourself, most parts place will ask for the make, year, and model of vehicle it is going in, and they will know what you need. Make sure you tell them is is a 4wd.

I'm not sure the 20005 Silverado has a transmission, but the 2005 does.
