I have a 1989 300E that when locking the doors, it unlocks itself. Why ?

Probably one of the lock switches is stuck in the unlock position. They're located on both front doors, the trunk, and the switch on the dash.

actually, it may be the comfort computer system or it could be ur security computer. it happened to me and to a lot of other vehicles.
