Has anyone encountered this problem? When I close the door on my 2013 Laramie 1500 Crew Cab, my left ear gets instantly blocked. It is a major problem.
I have tried opening the windows, all combinations, and it does not help. Additionally,
maybe related or not, there is a stale smell coming out of the A/C. I got this vehicle only
3 weeks ago. The problem with causing this ear pressure has been there from the
beginning. The passenger also feels the problem but not as severe. I had a 2011
Laramie with no problems.

I've got the same condition where I can hear only partially sound obfuscated by my breathing and heart...all internal organ sounds ....not physically blocked...doc says 'it's the MS' just live with it...see a doctor could be a nasty tumor or something egregious like that~

As far as the A/C your evaporator drain is blocked creating a "mould experiment" up inside your evaporator housing....because the drain is blocked with debris...blast the drain tube from the underside of the vehicle if you can find it or find the tube that leads from the evaporator down through the firewall/floor and disconnect it and stuff a wire from a wirehanger through it (I don't like it either, but is the prescribed solution) however the "pin blast" is more elegant...you may want to change your cabin air filter now too...there are carbon activated ones that de-odorize~

perhaps you are not used to the advanced sound absorbing materials that are found behind carpeting these days....it's a new phenomenon...noise cancelling materials...so really I understand where the senses can be a little mixed up...just turn up the AM station that you like~
