Car makes a buzzing sound when I turn key on.

My 1999 firebird  makes a buzzing sound
when I turn key on,  doesn't crank over. My
alternative gauge been having a lot of
movement  when I turn my blinkers on or
heater fan. Drove home 20 miles before that
and noticed my speed odometer,  tack  and
gauge wasn't working.  Still have all lights
working

Sounds like a BAD/DEAD battery. Try to take to auto parts store and have them test it. Hope this helps.
