Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2 friends that work for the same Nissan
dealership service department. Both are of the
same opinion. Avoid any Nissan with the CVT
transmission. Although they say "Job security at
it's finest". Also have a close friend that is a car
guy. Wife insisted on a new Sentra back in 2016.
He bought it without a test drive. BIG MISTAKE. He
absolutely hates it. Says that the transmission
seems"confused" doesn't know what it wants to
do. BTW ask most mechanics their opinions on the
CVT. In general they think they stink across ALL
CAR LINES!
