Hi all I have managed to repair my demister all 12-15 breaks used the silver repair paint but you need to be quick to use it it dries very fast before attempting repair used a bit of paint scratch remover first either side of repair to remove tarnish from remaining track if you hold up a white hand tissue the light reflects off it showing you have removed the tarnish don't scrub just light pressure and with a cloth not scourer clean with alcohol rub or acetone. Mask up with sellotape I applied it with a artist brush as fine as you can buy and removed the tape almost straightaway I checked with a multimeter on ohm setting a line that worked it was approx. 0.01-0.02 ohm .ALL now work does not look very neat but works .
